Ministries

God has blessed the Three Rivers Baptist Association with several great ministries. The goal of each is to equip the local church in accomplishing the Great Commission. Each ministry is made possible because of the partnerships that our association provides as we seek to link churches with churches!

Disaster Relief

The Three Rivers Baptist Association, in cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention, trains and sends disaster relief teams to areas hit by natural disasters equipping them with chainsaw, shower, or laundry units. Our purpose is to bring help, hope and healing during local, state, national and international disasters.

For more information on training, please contact us.

Ministry Training

The TRBA offers training for pastors, church staff, and lay workers through various events including pastor and church staff continuing education, pastor and church staff Thrive Groups, lay leader training, evangelism training, lay person training, and ministry catalyst / assistant training.

For more information on ministry training, please contact us.

Health Kits

With the partnership of our churches, we collect and provide health kits that can be handed out in our community as a point of gospel contact.

For more information on Health Kits, please call the TRBA Mission Center.

Missions

At Three Rivers, we want to partner with our local churches to help them pursue the Great Commission by serving and sharing the gospel locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

We partner with Southern Baptist efforts through the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board and focus many of our efforts in Vermont; Cincinnati, OH; Gastonia, NC; Salt Lake City, UT; southeast Idaho; Montreal, Quebec; sub-Saharan Africa; Madagascar and Thailand.

If we can assist you or your church with identifying a mission opportunity, please contact us at the Three Rivers Baptist Association office.

Scholarships

At Three Rivers, we believe deeply in training the next generation for ministry leadership in the local church and on the mission field.

With that in mind, we offer scholarships to students who are members at our partner churches. Scholarships are designated for students training for ministry at a South Carolina Baptist Convention university or a Southern Baptist Convention seminary.

A limited number of scholarships are awarded on an annual basis by the Association Leadership Team. Applications are available through the office. Contact us to learn more.

WMU

The Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) is an organization of women who have the same purpose and goal of sharing the good news of Jesus with those around them and interceding for those who are serving in missions overseas. The Associational WMU meets regularly for a time of worship and fellowship.
